New portal for Chemical Declaration within March 31
The new Chemical Declaration to the Product Register will be launched in March 2022. The deadline to report annual quantities for 2021 is postponed.
The Product Register is the official register of hazardous substances and mixtures in Norway. The intended users of the Norwegian Environment Agency`s portal for declaration of chemicals are importers and producers of substances and mixtures.
The Norwegian Environment Agency has developed a new application for Chemical Declaration to the Product Register. We will inform about the exact date as soon as possible.
It is not possible to update declarations or notify new declarations before the new system is launched in March. As a result, The duty to declare Chemicals before putting them on the marked in Norway (as described in the Regulation for declaration of Chemicals)is postponed.
New deadline 20 May 2022 to report annual quantities for 2021
The deadline to report annual quantities for 2021is postponed until 20 May 2022, from 15 March as is stated in the Regulation.
