Go to: EU-registry - Welcome (europe.eu)

• Click on First time user and Create an EU Login account.
• Fill in the information and click Create an account.
  
• Within 10 minutes, you will receive an e-mail from Authentication Service (automated-notifications@nomail.ec.europa.eu) with the subject "Create an account". Note that you have 24 hours to complete the registration after receiving this e-mail.
  
• Click on the link in the e-mail. This will take you to the page where you can create a password. Note the password requirements.

After creating your password, you will receive a message saying Successful login. However, the registration is not complete before you have authenticated your phone.

To complete the registration

Use or download the EU Login app, available on Android and iOS. The app is developed by the European Union.

Use the EU Login app to scan a QR code on the EU Login page:

• Click on the settings (cog) icon in the right corner of your screen after logging in.
• Click on My Account in the menu by the settings icon.
• Click on Manage my mobile devices.
• Click on Add a mobile device. If you already have an authentication method activated in EU Login, you have to authenticate with the activated method to proceed.
• Next, create a device name (can be anything) and a four number PIN code. Finish by clicking on Submit.
• A QR code will appear on the EU login page that you have to scan using the EU Login app on your phone.
• Open the app on your phone and follow the instructions. Once completed, a green confirmation banner will appear on the EU login webpage saying: A device has been added.
• Under my account, click on Manage my mobile phone numbers.
  
• Click on: Add a mobile phone number.
  Enter your number and click on add. Remember to add the correct country code for phone numbers.
  
• Then you will receive a confirmation code on SMS.
  
• Fill in the code and click on Finalise.

Note that one person can only register one phone, and every phone can only be registered to one person.

Go to the emission trading registry website: EU Registry - Welcome (europa.eu) 

Click on Login

• Enter your password and choose EU Login Mobile App QR Code and follow the instructions on your phone.
• Click on Fill in your personal details. Fill in all the mandatory fields.
• In the field Type of identity document, choose Other (please skip this step if no option for confirming ID is displayed). 
  • Then write eID in the field under
  • Write eID in the field for identity document identifier
  • Let the field for expiration date be blank.

• Write an email to kvoteregister@miljodir.no and ask for your enrolment key. 
• The Norwegian Environment Agency will send you the key on SMS. 
• After receiving the enrolment key, log in to the registry 
• In the left corner (when you are logged in) you will see enter your enrolment key. 
• Click on enter your enrolment key and enter the key (capital letters).  

You will now have access to the Emission Trading Registry.
